5-star prospects KJ Henry, Brenton Cox among Alabama visitors for camp

Alabama is hosting a large group of prospects over the first part of this week for camp.

Some are trying to camp for a committable offer and others are top prospects just visiting the campus and coaching staff.

Two of the top prospects set for visits are defensive ends KJ Henry of Clemmons, N.C., and Brenton Cox of Stockbridge, Ga.

Both are five-star recruits. Henry, the nation’s No. 15 overall recruit, tweeted that he’s in Tuscaloosa. Cox, the No. 22 recruit, told our partner site Cleveland.com that while he is visiting, he is still strong with his Ohio State commitment.

LSU four-star cornerback commit Kelvin Joseph is visiting. He has been committed to LSU for a while, but has strong interest in Alabama.

* 5-star RB Zamir White, the nation’s top running back

* 4-star DB Jalyn Armour-Davis from Mobile’s St. Paul’s

* 4-star LB JJ Peterson from Moultrie, Ga.

* 4-star JUCO DL Emmit Gooden from Independence CC

* Fort Mill, S.C. three-star punter Skyler DeLong, a Tennessee commit. He earned an offer on Saturday at the Alabama kicking camp per his Twitter.
